Hi, my name is Megan + I own Modern Magnolia Co. I'm married to my amazing husband who I have two dogs + two cats with. We live in the middle of nowhere Illinois on our own little slice of paradise.

Growing up I always had the dream of owning a business. Once I graduated college and worked my first full time job in the real world for 2 years, I realized what I truly wanted, which was to create my own business + work for myself. So that's what I did.

Where'd the name come from you ask? Maybe you didn't ask but I'm going to tell you anyway. Magnolias have ALWAYS been my favorite flower. They were the main flower in my wedding. They're beautiful + simple. So I knew I wanted to incorporate them into my business name. Then, honestly, I just thought Modern Magnolia Co. sounded good so I went with it!

I started out by running this business full time in my home. I hand printed each tee + sweatshirt myself. I now operate at my home in a building on my property. I also purchased a trailer that I built out + use as a mobile store that I take to vendor events around my area.
